The Piqu’avant Bourgogne Crew hunt for wildboar, twice a week in two different forests.
Every Saturday, in the forest of Clairvaux, in the Aube department, 50 km from the abbey.
Every Thursday, in the forest of Châtillon-sur-Seine, in the Côte d’Or department. This forest hosts the Abbey of the Val des Choues with the kennels (of about 150 hounds), the stables, the guest rooms and above all the owners and hound masters , Inès and Michel MONOT.
On Fridays, you can profit from the excellent location of the Abbey between Champagne and Burgundy vineyards.
It is in this superb and unusual area that Inès and Michel invite you to discover the art of wildboar hunting.
Your hunting stay is entirely organised and rates include lodging, food, horse rental and hunting fees.
In case you are a not rider, you have the possibility of following the hunt in a carriage.
